Why HappyKite?
End-to-End Support for
your eCommerce Business
Fed up of being passed from specialist to specialist, never quite getting the overall core of the problem solved and with no one looking at the bigger picture?
We’re a full service agency so we work across all aspects of your online business, from strategy and design, through to marketing plans and back office tools and processes.
What is full service eCommerce?
Jack-of-all-trades, master of none?
Far from it, we’re a small, specialist team – dedicated to growing eCommerce brands. From designs that convert, to sites that perform, integrations that save you 100s of hours, content that gets the visibiity you need and paid ads you can be proud of.
What makes you so good then?
We know WooCommerce really well
We’ve been working with WooCommerce since before it existed! As an agency, we have been working with WooCommerce since its inception in 2011 and have a wealth of experience designing and building complex sites on the platform. We have also built custom plugins which have a quarter of a million downloads.
Why should I put my trust (and budget) in you?
Your success is our success
We’re genuinely nice people who want to work with other lovely people to build exciting businesses. If you don’t believe that, then it’s also good business sense. We build partnerships and your success leads to our success. We have helped businesses grow their eCommerce sites from below 5-figure turn over to upwards of £1,000,000 in annual revenue.
Ok, you’ve piqued my interest…
How does it work?

Discovery
We will kick off the project by discussing your requirements, business goals and design ideas. We’ll work together to produce a detailed project brief and technical spec.
Keyword Research
Next, we will carry out keyword research that lines up with your business goals and product range. This process will include top-level competitor analysis and consideration of search intent, as well as an understanding of the factors that search engines currently prioritise in their search engine results pages (SERPs).
Design, UX & User Journey
We will produce user journeys, wireframes and detailed designs with a focus on mobile and desktop experience.
Site Build
This is where the fun begins (for us). We’ll create a schedule that outlines key milestones and deliverables for your project, all aligned with the technical specs. Our specialist development team will then work their magic to bring your new website to life.
QA, user testing and launch
Your site then undergoes rigorous cross-device testing, multi browser compatibility and an accessibility audit. Once your site has passed all our checks and you have signed the staging site off, we are ready for take-off.
Review and ongoing strategy
Now that your site is live, you can start enjoying the benefits of the fantastically brilliant website we’ve built for you. Sit back and relax, knowing that our care plan will keep your site secure at all times. And if you’ve opted for one of our ongoing retainers, our digital marketing team will be on hand to support you and provide advice on ongoing strategies.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sort of budget would I need to work with you?
We work with a wide range of clients with a range of budgets and complexities of projects and obviously the budget required will depend hugely on your requirements. For a complete eCommerce website design and build you will likely need a budget of at least £20k. If the project requires integration with other complex systems such as ERP, CRM, POS etc. then you will likely need to invest upwards of £40k.
How long does a project last?
The answer to this questions really depends on what you need! A typical WooCommerce project will take around 16 weeks to complete but your needs and the requirements of your business will dictate this. Things like the size of your product range and how complex the “engine room” of your website needs to be will dictate the timescale. We will set a detailed roadmap for the project at the Discovery phase of the project.
Will there be any ongoing costs?
Use of the WordPress and WooCommerce platforms themselves is free as these are open-source platforms. However, this does not mean that there won’t be costs to run your website. When using a platform like WordPress there are big perks since the website is fully owned by you and you have total freedom. However, you do need to consider that there will be some ongoing costs in running it. These may include website hosting, developer costs to keep the software updated and secure, plugin costs where relevant etc.
Once your website project is complete, our team of experts are here to help you maintain your website, ensure it is always safe and secure and help it to keep up with your growing business. We offer our clients assistance in a variety of ways, from monthly website care plans which give you the reassurance that your website will be updated, secure and regularly backed up to more significant ongoing partnerships with assistance and expertise in marketing, SEO, functionality development and design refreshes. Alternatively we can always be here for you on an ad-hoc basis if you’re ready to go alone for the main part but might need a helping hand every now and then.
